Fitter Law, LLC is a next-generation, subscription-based, law firm focused on the needs of businesses and individuals. Our experienced attorneys take an informed, tech-savvy approach to working with our clients on a wide range of legal matters. Our goal is to redesign the law firm experience from the ground up while helping our clients grow.

Led by founder, Attorney Jawad Fitter, Our lawyers represent clients in multiple practice areas. We encourage our attorneys to collaborate with local counsel where appropriate, and we have established a network of cost-effective resources across the region, enabling us to resolve multi-disciplinary issues in an effective manner.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

We have each served our time at larger firms, and our collective experience tells us that the traditional firm structure, with its excessive overhead expense and raw attorneys, no longer works for most clients.  Our lessons learned include:

  • Sophisticated transactions require sophisticated legal skills; not an army of lawyers.
  • For transactional disputes, litigation should be a last resort.
  • Alternative Fee Arrangements have advantages for both clients and attorneys.
  • It is better to provide excellent service to 100 clients than mediocre service to 1000.
  • Community involvement is our privilege.

The Fitter Law Subscription Plan was started in the Chicago-Kent College of Law’s Solo and Small Practice Incubator (SSPI). The Fitter Law Subscription Plan is the solution for startups and small businesses to help solve the constantly growing legal concerns of startups and small businesses.

SSPI is a program designed to offer a select group of entrepreneurial-minded IIT Chicago-Kent graduates with valuable experience and ongoing training to help build their professional firm legal practices. SSPI is intended to accelerate the successful development of lawyers in an “incubator” environment.
